Just got a re-up but will need more to get me through to my October USA visit

DUBLIN, IRELAND (August 4, 2024) — I have more installments of the two series currently running (Bramson Hiring, Anonymous) plus whatever develops with Sean Kane and anything else, but as a heads-up I am traveling again next week.

England/Wales

I have been to England many times, almost always on business trips. I fly into Heathrow, go straight to London City Center, have meetings, then straight back to Heathrow and home. In all those years, on all those trips, I have never been outside of London (well, I did a brief stop at Legoland Windsor Castle with the wife and kids in 2002, then overnight in Cardiff (Wales), on our way to Fishguard (Wales) to catch an early morning ferry to Rosslare (Ireland) but that hardly counts).

This time Loli and I are flying into Stanstead Airport, which is in Essex, about 40 miles northeast of Central London. We will head due west to Oxford for two nights, then Cardiff for a night, then Bath, Brighton, Dover and back to Stanstead, a sort of loop around London. The anchor event for this trip is Cardiff. I have Gold tickets (a cordoned off area in front of the stage) for Billy Joel (his only European date) at Principality Stadium (the highly regarded home of Welsh Rugby).

I also have opera tickets at Glyndebourne.

It should be fun but will mean a bit of a break from writing for a few days (unless something big happens, which may well be the case).

Sustainable Westchester

I told you last week I thought the folks at Sustainable Westchester were in for a shock. Now that the series is running — especially Part III — you tell me.

I spent months on putting the series together. I have published Part I, II, and III of my 4-part series How Noam Bramson Was Hired as Sustainable Westchester Executive Director.

I was referring especially to Part III, which offers an unvarnished view of how these shady characters operate. I believe a good case can be made that the executive director search was a sham from jump street. If you doubt it, take a look at the work put in for the 2020 search (Cadillac) and compare to the 2023 search (Ford Pinto). I will publish Part IV on Monday, at which point it will be clear why I told readers last week that I believe law enforcement will need to take a look at both Sustainable Westchester and Noam Bramson.

Remember Part IV requires a Premium subscription. Hey! I am busting my butt to do this reporting, so if you have not done so, pony up the $7 to go Premium — and tell your friends to do the same. 😉

I have been working on the other series since March. The Mystery of the Authorship of the Anonymous Letter of New Rochelle has two more Parts coming.

And then there is the Sean Kane saga, which came out of nowhere. A reader sent me the Facebook comment he wrote. Just after my story on his denial of the allegations, I heard back from his lawyer.

Statement from NRPBA Attorney Andrew Quinn:

I represent Lt. Sean Kane. We will not comment at this time due to the pendency of the investigation.

Allow me to suggest you get into some of the free stuff towards the bottom — take a look at the story about a seriously bad guy. Raymond Gilkes (New Rochelle Police Make Quick Work of Gunmen Who Fired Hollow Points at The Hollow), the 62-year-old woman who ripped off her local library (Former Mamaroneck Public Library Business Manager Sentenced for Stealing More Than $43,000 from Library), and another library story involving a future Congressman (Latimer Bails on Children’s Event at Pelham Library due to Palestinian Protestors).
