DUBLIN, IRELAND (December 15, 2024) — I realize readers are busy with family and holidays and pretending to work over these next weeks but I am not traveling this Christmas so I hope to have time to crank out some more Thimblerig stories. Speaking of which, there was apparently some odd notion that threatening me with litigation would cause me to stop reporting on corruption in New Rochelle. Whoever came up with that idea has no idea who I am or what I am about and certainly has been paying attention these last 16+ years. I will leave you this thought:

Free Accounts are no longer available to new subscribers. Those grandfathered in today who do not upgrade to a paid account by December 31, 2024, will be removed on that day. In the remaining few months, free subscribers will be limited to a weekly email newsletter with links to recommended articles on Talk of the Sound (free), links to articles elsewhere on the web (mostly free but some paywalled content) and the headlines of my Paid and Premium content with a teaser but not the actual articles.
