CHICAGO, IL (February 23, 2025) — I am on the way back to Dublin after attending my mom’s funeral at Notre Dame after not much sleep and a 48-hour turnaround.
I did make good use of my time in Chicago by stopping at Wendy’s (which are coming but have yet to open in Ireland): Wendy’s Thin Mints Frosty Drops Today (Feb. 21).

A few thoughts after my head-spinning deep dive into the inanity that has become endless council discussions of flags and galas and heritage months. They cannot fix Quaker Ridge Road, but they can spend time and money on raising a United Nations flag or hosting a Chinese New Year feast.
