DUBLIN, IRELAND (March 16, 2025) — In case you’ve been wondering, I have been working on a brand new project which took up all my time over the past week as I readied for a St. Patrick’s Day launch of DublinYanks so a bit behind on New York articles.

The tagline for DublinYanks is “An American in Dublin decoding Ireland for fellow Yanks— serving up the craic from the Emerald Isle — with a wink and a pint.”

The plan for DublinYanks is to feature articles that capture my unique, sardonic perspective as an American expat who moved to Ireland two years ago and made just about every mistake a newbie can make along the way. I am already publishing long form, short form, and quick-hit articles and links and socials to share thoughts with my fellow Americans on well-earned lessons on the enigmas of life in Ireland, My posts blend personal, often self-deprecating anecdotes about life as a naive newcomer to Ireland, with practical advice, and cultural insights, tourism tips, pro-tips, accounts of the day-to-day hassles dealing with government agencies, utility companies and businesses, the amusing quirkiness of life in Ireland, my sense of Irish views of Americans, language differences, on politics, media and current events. All with a bit of craic.

I set up a new WordPress site at https://www.DublinYanks.com where readers can subscribe via email or follow on X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. YouTube, SnapChat

Tagline:

“An American in Dublin decoding Ireland for fellow Yanks— serving up the craic from the Emerald Isle — with a wink and a pint.”
