NEW ROCHELLE, NY (October 9, 2024) — Shrub Oak bills itself as a “therapeutic day and residential school for autistic children, adolescents, and young adults with complex co-occurring conditions… located on 127 secure, gated acres.”

Shrub Oak caters to wealthy international families from around the world — business tycoons and members of royal families. When they were getting started, the school boasted of its plans for riding stables, gourmet meals and a helipad. The school installed bidets for a set of twins at the request of one wealthy family.
