THE PANDEMIC IS OVER: Tear Down These COVID Warning Signs!
Say yes to the future, yes to freedom!
NEW ROCHELLE, NY (February 19, 2023) — I know it should not bother me so much but it does. I am sick and tired of seeing COVID Warning Signs everywhere I go.
It has been more than a year since New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced on February 9, 2022, that indoor mask mandates for businesses would end on February 10, 2022.

New York lifts indoor mask mandate, with California and N.J. mandates also set to end
As of last Sunday, there is no mask mandate, even for hospitals — the last of the hold outs.
New York State to Drop Requirement That Masks Be Worn in Hospitals
If 6-feet of “social distancing” ever accomplished anything, it is not accomplishing anything today. If masks ever served to stop the spread of the virus, it is not now. Give me a regular menu, not a damn QR Code.
I would ask readers to do three things:

- Kindly ask the proprietors to remove these useless, outdated signs.

We are never going to move on from the pandemic if we have unnecessary reminders of the COVID lockdown shoved in our faces every time we go shopping or grab a bite to eat.
These photos are not intended to single out any particular business or building, but rather to illustrate the problem. It is just one of those things people do, then forget about. I am sure they are not even aware of them anymore. But the COVID Warning Signs are ubiquitous. They need to go. A gentle nudge can help remind these folks. Be nice, but ask.
